Vehicle/pedestrian anti-collision system

One of the major risks on a construction site or industrial site is the coactivity of pedestrians and machines. Vehicle/pedestrian collisions represent 2000 accidents per year. CAD.42 has developed KYD.42 to avoid the risk of accidents.

How it works ?

KYD.42 measures its distance with the other beacons and alerts the driver and the pedestrian with an audible signal, a vibration, and a light flash when a predetermined limit is crossed with at least one of them. This limit can be set using a single smartphone or tablet.

Each beacon can have its own alert distance.

One or more KYD.42 are magnetized on the machine. Pedestrians who can work nearby are equipped with a KYD.42 with armband or support for installation on a helmet.
