One or more RTK.42 sensors are magnetized to the cranes to obtain their positions in real time. Crane operators are equipped with a tablet allowing them to view in real time the position of their machine and nearby machines as well as active or prohibited work zones. An audible and visual alert alerts the crane operator of a risk of collision or entry into a prohibited zone.
As an option, a gyro-siren can alert mobile machine operators or ground personnel of an approach to another co-active machine or an approach to a prohibited area.
Slowing down and then stopping the tower crane is possible as an option.

3D areas
Using ground acquisition, via the visualization integrated into our business application or directly from your plans or BIM, you define the zones of evolution or prohibition for mobile machinery (or we do it for you according to your instructions / guidelines).
Zones can be defined in 3D to avoid, for example, reconciling with lines to high voltage / railway tracks, catenaries, facades of buildings or buried elements such such as water or gas pipes, optical fiber, etc.
Unifield, site supervisor
For each site, a project on the unifield.io web platform is created. Access is provided to site supervision.
We find there:
The status of the various components of the system (connected or disconnected / battery charge level). The log page which records all the alerts that the system has issued to machine operators. An integrated viewer which allows you to see in real time or replay data from different machines up to 3 months ago. A tool for creating 3D zones. An alert configurator by email or SMS.
They put their trust in us
We used the Cad.42 anti-collision assistance system for 8 months on the Orly Station and Silo Parking site.
In fact, the space and time constraints of the site force us to use one or two additional mobile cranes in the interference zone of our tower crane.
The ease of installation of the RTK.42 boxes met our expectations of speed and efficiency regarding the risk of collision between the different cranes used on the site, the system is a real prevention tool for crane operators (tower crane + mobile cranes).
Florent PERRIN, site prevention manager of Orly Station, DEMATHIEU BARD
The implementation of the CAD.42 system allowed us to control aeronautical height limits at any time of the day, and to factually prove to our client that this constraint was respected at all times.
Guillaume Lhermite, OA2 site manager on the Line 18 project (lot 1), VINCI Construction
From a contractor's point of view, it is a practical solution which is already finding applications on several of our construction sites.
