Green Energy: RTK.42 Integrates Solar Power

We are excited to announce a major innovation for our cutting-edge GPS sensor, the RTK.42. In our continued quest to improve the functionality and durability of our products, we are proud to introduce the integrated solar panel option to the RTK.42.

Key features
Solar power of 5.75 Watts : The solar panel integrated into the RTK.42 offers an impressive power of 5.75 Watts, thus exceeding the energy needs of the sensor which only consumes 5W. This overcapacity ensures reliable power even in low light conditions.

Smart battery charging : During the day, the solar panel directly powers the RTK.42, reducing dependence on the main battery. On weekends, when the device is less active, the excess energy is used to recharge the main battery, ensuring continuous autonomy.

Guaranteed waterproofing (IP67) : We understand the importance of protecting your equipment from the elements. The RTK.42 equipped with its solar panel remains fully waterproof with IP67 certification, guaranteeing reliable operation in harsh environments.

High efficiency monocrystalline cell technology : The solar panel is made of highly efficient monocrystalline cells, reaching an efficiency of 20%. This technology guarantees optimal conversion of sunlight into electrical energy.

Matte EFTE film coating (Tefzel) : The solar panel is coated with a matte EFTE film (Tefzel), offering not only exceptional mechanical resistance, but also increased durability in the face of the most rigorous environmental conditions.

With this new feature, the RTK.42 becomes even more versatile, providing extended battery life and consistent performance even in harsh environments.

We are convinced that this improvement will significantly contribute to your user experience and the reliability of your operations.
